My journey first started back in 2012 when my grandmother was first diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. In that same year I nearly died from PE (Pulmonary Embelisms). Then in 2016 I had a double TLIF (Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion) which left me with a permanent disability, at times with crippling pain and limiting what I can or can’t do. This kickstarted a serious interest in my health, looking into Veganism, eliminating toxic ingredients in my life. From my bed I studied Naturopathy, Nutrition and eventually turned fully vegan. I had always integrated the metaphysical in all facets of my life from an early age. I had completed the Reiki Master, I was really in touch with the power of crystals and other alternative healing methods.
After the operation, I was working for a soap-making business at which point a friend asked me why I didn't start making my own soaps incorporating all of my interests and values.
So from there, the rest was history.
It's been a really beautiful and interesting process ever since, creating different scents for soaps, learning how to make the other products and getting involved in the various different events and markets across London.
In the past, I've really enjoyed creating soaps specifically for different brands that align with my vision and principles. The goal for the future would be to become a wholesaler for a few different shops and in turn use that to donate a percentage of our profits to charities and causes that we personally support.
Prior to the Coronavirus outbreak, LovEvE's main business happened at markets, pop up stores and events across London. It goes without saying, but we all know how challenging this year has been for small businesses. We are adapting and growing and exploring new ways of keeping the business alive.
However, we would like to ask for your help. If you have ever enjoyed or benefited from a LovEvE product and would like to keep it going, please consider donating below.
We are eternally grateful for your time and support!
